Everyday more people are learning about the benefits of Sacred Medicines and looking for alternatives to conventional therapy and pharmaceuticals, which often treat the symptoms rather than the cause. Allow me to guide you through the process of preparation, navigation and integration of Sacred Medicine experiences, for purposes of healing, self improvement, spiritual growth or Addiction Recovery.
Tools for Transformation
Sacred Medicines, also known as Psychedelics or Entheogens, have been used for thousands of years by our ancestors and indigenous people for many purposes including healing, gaining knowledge and spiritual growth. While Sacred Medicines are my specialty, I also promote other Tools for Transformation such as Ayurveda, detoxification, hiking, meditation and yoga to help establish a healthy daily routine.
Catalyze Your Consciousness
A catalyst is a substance that allows a transformation to occur at a faster rate than it would under normal conditions. In this case two catalysts are stacked to accelerate a personal transformation, the Tools for Transformation such as Sacred Medicines, and the coaching that I provide. It is my belief that for a truly effective transformation, consciousness must be expanded and raised. For this, the catalysts are needed because will power alone is not enough to permanently alter our most stubborn patterns and conditionings.
Preparation, Navigation and Integration
It has become increasingly clear that having a peak experience with Sacred Medicines may produce temporary changes in you, but for permanent growth we must integrate the insights we gain during ceremony into our daily routines. In other words, converting states to traits. My role is to prepare you before an experience, including guidance on how to best navigate through it, and then to assist you with integration after the experience.
Addiction can be viewed as a spiritual problem resulting from a disconnect from our Higher Self. The addicted mind seeks an external relief from suffering rather than finding an internal solution. From this perspective, to mature beyond an addiction requires a person to rediscover their Higher Self buried under layers of traumas, beliefs, patterns and conditionings. It is important to recognize this process as an opportunity that allows the person to actually be better following the addiction than they were before.
There are many types of coaching, and many personalities of coaches. With me, you get a calm, balanced and grounded coach with integrity. Most importantly, you get an attentive listener who is fully present during our conversations. While my knowledge is always available at your request, my primary role will be to help you find the answers within.
Coaching Versus Counseling
Coaches focus on the power of now rather than the stories of our past. The coach is an equal in the relationship with the client rather than being an authority. Coaches can help people prepare for, navigate through and integrate after a Sacred Medicine experience, which a counselor may be reluctant or unqualified to do. Coaching is not licensed by legislature and does not offer diagnosis, evaluations, treatment, therapy or medical advice. Coaching also offers people an alternative to conventional addiction recovery methods including consistent long term support, affordable rates, and confidentiality (no documentation by your insurance company). Despite these differences with counseling, one important similarity is that coaches adhere to accepted ethical standards, like all others in the helping professions.
